Sugaring season is here!

Sugar shack season means fun, sun and good times. It’s no wonder everyone loves this sweet time of year!

We’ve come up with a selection of sugar shacks located near a train station or bus stop so you can take full advantage of the experience with family or friends.

Labonté de la pomme

Located directly on an agritourism site, this family run business features a vegetarian and gastronomic menu with local products. It’s the ideal place to reconnect with the land and gather around a table with loved ones.

Take the 404 bus to Deux-Montagnes Station then the 704 to Oka.

La sucrerie de la montagne

Opened in 1978 and recognized as a Quebec heritage site, this sugar shack is an excellent place to immerse yourself in Quebec traditions with its historical buildings surrounded by a forest of hundred-year-old maple trees.

take the train to Vaudreuil then the 61 bus to Rigaud.

La Maison amérindienne de l’érable

go to Longueuil Terminal and take the 200 bus to Saint-Hyacinthe then the 11 bus to Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

La Ferme aux Vieux Chênes

Located on a vast expanse of land, this sugar shack features a traditional menu made with products grown on site. And to make the experience even more festive, they play traditional Rigodon music and allow you to bring your own wine. What more could you ask for?
