Parking your bike
There are three options for parking your bike.
Bikezones
A bikezone is an indoor shelter reserved for authorized users. This service is available at four train stations and bus terminals on the network: Vaudreuil, Terrebonne, Sainte-Julie and Sainte-Thérèse.
Outdoor bike racks
Most parking lots at train stations and bus terminals are equipped with bike racks.
Bike lockers
The Montcalm bus terminal and the Candiac and Mont-Saint-Hilaire train stations offer free access to bike lockers.
Each locker can hold up to six bikes in individual compartments and is equipped with a charging station for electric bikes.
Bringing a bike on board
On trains
Bikes are allowed on all five of our train lines, even during peak hours.
On buses
You can use the bike racks installed on the front of buses free of charge. However, this service isn’t available on all of our lines.
Bike sharing
BIXI, the bike-sharing system, lets you make short trips and leave your bike at one of the 700 stations available throughout the Greater Montreal Area, including along the exo network.
BIXI is ideal for:
- Incorporating biking into your commute to a train station, bus terminal or metro.
- Planning a day of biking in Montreal and getting around easily.
- Commuting to work, visiting friends or heading to the gym.
- Moving and getting some exercise during your lunch break.
Ride all year round with BIXI
The service is available 365 days a year in Montreal.
