The type of fare you choose and its price depend on the fare zones you travel through during your trip. To determine the appropriate fare, identify all the fare zones you’ll be travelling through.
Find your fare zone or set of zones
Your fare must cover your departure zone, destination zone and any other zone you travel through during your trip, including those used for connecting to different services.
- Zone AAgglomeration of Montréal
- Zone BAgglomeration of Longueuil and Laval
- Zone CNorthern and southern suburbs
- Zone DOutside the territory

Fares and fees for all public transportation in the Greater Montreal Area are regulated by the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM).

If you use multiple modes of transportation during your trip
Most commonly used fare in this category: 1-trip, All Modes ABC
- $7.00 – Regular fare
- $4.75 – Reduced fare for ages 6 to 17
- $4.75 – Reduced fare for ages 65 and over
If you travel by bus only, in one or more zones
Most commonly used fare in this category: 1-trip, Bus
- $3.75 – Regular fare
- $2.75 – Reduced fare for ages 6 to 17
- $2.75 – Reduced fare for ages 65 and over
If you use paratransit
The fare for paratransit services, just like regular transit services, depends on the fare zones you travel through.
