The RTM Laurentides sector provides public transit service by bus and taxibus in the cities of Blainville, Bois-des-Filion, Boisbriand, Deux-Montagnes, Lorraine, Mirabel, Pointe-Calumet, Rosemère, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Saint-Eustache, Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Sainte-Thérèse, Saint-Jérôme and Saint-Joseph-du-Lac.
In order to provide better service to low-density residential areas, a taxibus service (booked in advance) is available for certain sectors.
To reserve or modify your commute, you must call at least one hour in advance (two hours for travel in Saint-Benoit or Saint-Hermas), by calling the taxi company that provides the service on the line you wish to use. Note that such commuting is only permitted between different sectors (it is not permitted within a single sector).
Routes and reservations
When booking your reservation, you will have to provide the following information:
The dispatcher will confirm the time at which you will be picked up at your stop. Make sure you are at the stop five minutes early. If you are absent at pick-up time and have not given sufficient advance notice, you become liable for a $25 fine.
Saturday service on statutory holidays. The taxibus driver can give you a transfer, which you can then use to get on a bus, just as you can use a transfer from a bus to get on the taxibus. When you board, you will have to either:
Using the taxibus costs the same as the regular bus service. To determine the fare, refer to the fare schedule. In the PDF schedule, view the list of stops on the line to find out what metropolitan zone is assigned to each of the stops.
The following transit passes can be used to pay for trips by taxibus (note that "six-trip" cards are not accepted):
En tout temps, le RTM Laurentides se réserve le droit de vérifier si vous êtes en possession d’un titre de transport valide au moment de votre déplacement. Pour la carte OPUS chargée d’un titre, la vérification peut être faite à distance. Si vous utilisez le service de taxi collectif sans un titre de transport valide, vous êtes passible d’une suspension de service et d’une amende de 25 $.
At all times, RTM Laurentides reserves the right to verify that you possess a valid transit fare while travelling. In the case of an OPUS card loaded with a fare, this verification may be done remotely. If you use the taxibus service without a valid transit fare, you may have your service suspended and become liable for a $25 fine.
