355 - Exo on-demand Candiac, Delson, Saint-Constant, Sainte-Catherine

The on-demand transport service, also known as exo on-demand, has been operating in Candiac, Delson, Saint-Constant and Sainte-Catherine since 8 November 2025.

This flexible public transport service replaces the following regular bus routes on weekends and public holidays:

  • Routes 151, 152, 153, 154, 155 et 156 (Delson, Saint-Constant et Sainte-Catherine)

  • Routes 142, 143, 146 et 147 (Candiac and part of La Prairie)

Please note: Regional routes 650 and 651 are not affected by these changes.

1. What is exo on-demand?

The on‑demand transport service from exo, called “ exo on‑demand ”, is a flexible collective transport service open to everyone, adapting its offering based on demand.

This type of transport allows you to book journeys according to the needs of all users, via a mobile app or web. Reservations are required to use the service.

It offers pickup points closer to you, with routes and travel times optimised according to bookings.

Simple, flexible and efficient, it is offered on weekends and statutory holidays. It covers the territory including Delson, Candiac, Saint‑Constant and Sainte‑Catherine.

Trips are shared with other passengers and can be booked anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 days in advance.

  • Pick‑up and drop‑off near your departure and arrival addresses thanks to fixed and virtual stops visible in the app.
  • Service offered from 5:30 a.m. to 2:45 a.m., Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays.
  • More direct, frequent journeys adapted to your destinations.
  • More direct travel from one municipality to another within the zone, without having to transfer via terminals.
  • Expanded covered territory thanks to new virtual stops.

4. How do I register for this service?

In both cases, register by providing: First name, Last name, Email, Phone number.

5. How do I book a ride?

Reservations can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via:

Steps to follow:

  • Enter the departure and arrival addresses, the date and preferred time, and the number of people travelling. The app will suggest a trip to get you to your destination.

  • A reminder for your booking will be sent one hour before departure, and the exact boarding time will be confirmed 15 minutes before the vehicle arrives. Please arrive at the stop a few minutes early.

  • Look for the vehicle labelled 355 - EXO À LA DEMANDE. Once on board, you’ll be able to check your estimated arrival time in real‑time. The driver will drop you off at the stop closest to your destination, within the covered zone.

  • Exo on‑demand will bring you back near your home!

In case of cancellation

Cancellations are possible up to 10 minutes before departure via the “ My Bookings ” tab in the app. Cancelling in advance is important because it lets us offer the seat to another customer.

FAQ – exo on-demand in Candiac, Delson, Saint-Constant, Sainte-Catherine

  • You can transfer to a regular exo line at the Georges-Gagné or Montcalm-Candiac terminus. Make sure you have a valid ticket for your transfer. Please note that there is no train service at Candiac, Delson, Sainte-Catherine, or Saint-Constant stations on weekends and public holidays.

  • A virtual stop is a safe boarding and disembarking area located at an intersection, however there is no traditional bus stop sign at this location.

  • The driver cannot wait for you at a stop. If you are not there, they will indicate that you have not used the service. Your absence will be noted in your account. Exo reserves the right to take action in the event of misuse.

    To avoid being late for other reservations, we suggest arriving 5 minutes in advance.

  • No. The app will provide a boarding location based on your departure address, as well as a drop-off location based on your arrival address. You can choose from several fixed and virtual stops in the app.

    Please note that the proposed stops are, by default, located no more than a 5-minute walk from your departure address.

  • Yes, you can transport bulky items, as long as you can carry them yourself and they do not obstruct the movement of other passengers.

  • On-demand transportation will be available from 5:30 a.m. to 2:45 a.m. on holidays.

  • You may reserve your trips up to 7 days in advance. The app will ask you to confirm the route per day.
  • Yes, the reservation may be modified up to 10 minutes before pickup time via the mobile app, website or by phone during our Customer Service department’s business hours (Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

    You may also use our chat service, available every weekday from noon to 4:30 p.m.
  • The reservation may be modified or cancelled 10 minutes before the pickup time. A minimum of one (1) hour before your scheduled pickup time is preferable to allow us to give your spot to another customer.

    If you do not cancel your reservation and are not present at the stop at the scheduled time, a note of “absent” will be added to your account and you’ll be sent an email.
  • Currently, there is no limit on the number of reservations per user. However, there are restrictions on consecutive trips to prevent abuse.
  • Yes, the terms for exo buses also apply to this service. To book a trip, each passenger must have an account in their name and download the exo on-demand app for an optimal experience. You may make reservations for another account using the web reservation portal on the website, by calling exo Customer Service, or via our chat service.

  • Yes. Since on-demand transportation complements the regular network, regular or local bus routes may be offered instead if they match the customer’s trip. Customers are encouraged to use fixed routes when available.

    If no vehicles are available, try booking a little later. A space may open up if another customer cancels. In any case, we recommend booking as early as possible. Reservations can be made up to seven days in advance.

  • The exo on-demand service is free, as is the public transit offered by the municipalities of Candiac, Delson, Saint-Constant, and Sainte-Catherine.

    No proof is required to use these services. However, if you transfer to another line outside the service area (such as regional lines 650 and 651), you must present a valid ticket on those lines.
