How do I book a trip?
It’s super easy! Reserve your trip in real time on the exo on-demand transport app in just a few clicks.
The exo on-demand app is available on the App Store and Google Play. To register, simply select the Terrebonne sector, and fill in your personal information: name, email, and phone number.
The app will propose virtual stops at the closest targeted intersections.
You can book a trip for one or several people, depending on the available seating in the vehicle.
The exo on-demand service is available to all users holding a monthly subscription or a valid pass for the Terrebonne-Mascouche sector (zone C) available on an OPUS card or an occasional chip card (L'Occasionnelle). You can also pay in cash on board the vehicle (exact change required). Consult our FAQ to see the list of accepted passes.

The vehicle will arrive at the time confirmed in your reservation. Please present yourself at the stop 5 minutes beforehand.
Travel with peace of mind! You can follow your vehicle in real time on the app, and you’ll receive a notification as it approaches.
It’s important that you modify or cancel your reservation to allow another user to take advantage of the service. You may cancel your trip at any time, up until the scheduled time of departure:

Identify your ride thanks to the name of the driver and the vehicle’s colour and model. exo à la demande stickers are also on the vehicle. Once on board, you can see the time of arrival at your destination in real time.
The driver will drop you at the intersection closest to your destination, within the area served.

The territory served by on-demand transportation service extends mainly south of Highway 25, and includes the Terrebonne bus terminus, the Guzzo cinema, Vieux-Terrebonne and the industrial districts of Lachenaie and Leveillé.
All boarding and disembarking takes place in the area identified on the map. -
Exo has recently adopted a unified technological platform consolidating all its on-demand transportation services within its territory. Until very recently, the pilot projects in Beloeil-McMasterville and Terrebonne used two separate applications. The deployment of the new user application is happening gradually. Ultimately, all current and future exo on-demand services will be available through this new booking application.

Exo on-demand offers 2 other booking options, either via the dedicated website or by calling 1 833 allo exo (255-6396) during our customer service hours to book your trip from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

You may transfer to a regular exo line or the Terrebonne bus terminal. Be sure to hold a valid fare for your transfer.

You will receive a notification 15 minutes and 5 minutes before its approach. Please present yourself at the stop 5 minutes beforehand. You can follow your vehicle in real time on the app.

No, this service is provided by cars and they aren’t equipped with bike racks.

Only service animals or animals in cages are accepted on board on-demand transit vehicles.

Luggage must not take up additional space in the vehicle, as the service is provided by cars, and you may be paired with other clients. The trunk of the vehicle is reserved exclusively for folding strollers and mobility aids.

Only mobility aids are accepted in the trunk of the car. The customer is responsible for placing the stroller inside the vehicle. Packages that can be placed on the lap are also accepted in the car.

Any customer who loses an item must go to the ticket office at the Terrebonne terminus to check if it has been found.

No, exo on-demand is a public transit service. The vehicle may stop on route to pick up other customers travelling in the same direction as you. No more than three (3) passengers will travel aboard the vehicle.

Testing the service with smaller vehicles allows us to compare it with the pilot projects already underway in Beloeil and McMasterville (which feature minibuses and midibuses)

The vehicles are designed to accommodate three (3) people on board.

The app will provide a boarding location at the intersection closest to your point of departure and point of arrival.

Yes, you can be accompanied by a maximum of 2 persons (children and/or adults). However, when making your reservation, you must obligatorily indicate the total number of passengers on your ride, including yourself, because the number of passengers allowed on board (3 persons at most) is calculated in real time.

If the route you request is more efficient by bus, we will direct you to the regular lines.
Also remember that by choosing the bus, you can select a route according to a specific arrival time.

If the your departure and arrival intersections are less than 750 meters apart, the exo on-demand service is unfortunately not available.

Yes. If no vehicles are available, you will have to wait and try to reserve again a bit later. If the proposed timing doesn’t suit you, regular exo bus lines will still be available during the regular service hours in effect.

It is important that you ensure you ride in the right vehicle. Identify your ride thanks to the name of the driver and the vehicle’s colour and model. exo à la demande stickers are also on the vehicle.

The app will select and identify the intersection closest to your points of departure and arrival. The app will show you the shortest route to get there.
If you reserve by phone, the agent will indicate which intersection to go to and the distance to get there.

You may book your trip when you need to travel, i.e. in real time, via the mobile app, the web platform or by calling exo Customer Service during business hours.

You can cancel your trip on the mobile application and on the web platform. You can also cancel by phone, Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.
Please note that a 15-minute delay between the cancellation time of your trip and the start of the boarding time for the new trip is required.
If a customer does not cancel their reservation and is not present at the stop at the scheduled time, a note of “absent” will be made in their account and they will be sent an email.
Please note that it is important to cancel your trip to allow other customers to use the service and prevent the car from making an unnecessary trip. Exo reserves the right to take action in the event of misuse.

To avoid delays for other reservations, the driver cannot wait for you at the bus stop. If you are absent, he will make sure to indicate that you have not used the service. Your absence will be noted in your account. Exo reserves the right to take action in the event of misuse.
If your plans suddenly change, you may cancel your trip up until one minute before the time of your departure. Cancelling in advance is important, as it allows us to give the spot to another customer.

Yes. Simply register the number of people who will be travelling with you when you book. Please note that up to three (3) people may travel in the same vehicle.

Yes, the terms of use for exo buses and free transportation for children also apply to this service. To book a trip, each passenger must have an account in their name and download the exo on-demand app for an optimal experience. You may create a reservation for another account by calling exo Customer Service.
Children under 11 accompanied by an adult are entitled to one free ticket.

The rates and fares are equivalent to those of the regular bus service for the Terrebonne-Mascouche sector (zone c).
Children under 11 accompanied by an adult, and residents of Terrebonne or Mascouche aged 65 and over with a photo OPUS card, are eligible for a free trip.
