How long is my OPUS card valid for and how much does it cost to replace it?
The validity period of your OPUS card and the cost of replacing it will vary depending on your age and the type of fare you use.

| 6 to 11 years old** | Reduced*** | 1 to 5 years. The card is valid until October 31 of the year in which the child turns 12. | $6 |
| Students from 12 to 14 years old | Reduced*** | 2 years | $15 |
| Students from 15 to 17 years old | Reduced*** | 1 year | $15 |
| 65+ | Reduced*** | 7 years | $15 |
| 18 to 64 years old | Student*** | 1 year | $15 |
*The regular fare applies to individuals with an OPUS card without photo.
**Children 11 and under travel free throughout the Greater Montreal area when accompanied by a person aged 14 or older with a valid transit fare .
***You must have a valid OPUS card with photo to benefit from the reduced or student fare.
