    Identify your fare zones and select the fare you need

    Fare zones are geographic areas that correspond to the fare you need to pay to use public transit in the Greater Montreal Area. By determining your departure and destination fare zones, you can find the fare that meets your travel needs.

    OPUS card or occasional card: Which one do you need?

    Exo offers two types of cards for train, metro or bus travel, which are accepted throughout the metropolitan transit network.

    You can purchase an OPUS card or an occasional card:

    • At a sales and service outlet.
    • At a fare vending machine in train stations or at certain bus terminals.

    Please note

    • Some OPUS subscriptions may not be available in certain locations. Please check the availability of your subscription using our search tool before visiting one of our sales and service outlets or a metropolitan ticket office.
    • Single-ride and multi-ride subscriptions (1, 2 or 10 rides), All Modes AB, All Modes ABC, All Modes ABCD and Out-of-Territory Bus passes can only be purchased on an occasional card or a new, specially designated OPUS card. This dedicated OPUS card will be issued to you free of charge upon presentation of a valid OPUS card registered in your name. If you do not already have an OPUS card, a fee will be charged for issuing a new OPUS card.
