The beaches on Montréal’s South Shore provide a refreshing getaway on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Perfect for summer dips, a day with the family, or simply to relax in the sun, these beaches are all accessible by public transit on the exo network.

Located at the mouth of the Soulanges Canal, the Village des Écluses heritage site in Vaudreuil-Soulanges welcomes you with its vacation-like decor. The restaurant, bar and large waterfront terrace make it the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon or summer cocktail hour. Outdoor enthusiasts will want to take advantage of the variety of watercraft available to rent (kayaks, paddle boards, electric surfboards), nature trails, and the Soulanges bike path.

Located on Île Sainte-Hélène, Jean Doré beach offers a spectacular view of Montréal while being surrounded by greenery and water.
