This year, the Verger du Flanc Nord in Mont-Saint-Hilaire is once again hosting a magical activity in the spirit of Halloween.

Their witchy evening is an immersive outdoor theatrical experience during which children are invited to arrive in costume with a flashlight.

The 30-minute stroll on a dark forest path is full of surprises and delights.

At every turn, a witch or wizard appears to tell their own version of a half-funny, half-spooky tale.

Check their Facebook page for specific dates!

To get there: take line 200 toward Saint-Hyacinthe, get off at Chemin Authier and walk 10 minutes to Verger du Flanc Nord.

For Fright Fest, La Ronde transforms into a huge haunted house with nine zones, each more frightening than the last.

With 100 terrifying creatures wandering freely through the site, each visitor will feel like they’ve stepped inside a real live horror movie.

When the sun sets, the adrenaline rises. The rides and roller coasters plunge into darkness, offering an even more thrilling experience.

And for newbies, you’ll be happy to know it’s easy to get to by bus and métro.

La Ronde is located one métro stop away from the Longueuil bus terminal.

In October, ghosts of the past haunt Exporail, the Canadian Railway Museum. Skeletons, rats and spiders overtake the area for the duration of this spooky time of year.

It’s a chance for visitors to discover the museum’s collection from a whole new perspective, in a haunted railway setting. It also allows them to hear tragic stories from the mysterious characters who have taken up temporary residence at Exporail.

Located a stone’s throw from Saint-Constant Station, we recommend riding the train to the museum for the full experience.
