🎄 Quartier Général café
With a familiar *ding*, I request my first stop on the bus to visit Quartier Général café in Old La Prairie for an essential pick-me-up. The café’s cozy atmosphere charms me immediately! It’s bursting with life and art, and I have a hard time choosing from its tempting menu, but no surprise I order a hot chocolate to warm me up and give me a boost of energy! One sip and I know I’ve made the right choice, but I’ll have to come back another time to try the chai latte.

🎄 🎄 Centre Jardin Botanix Faucher
Three bus stops later and I’m feeling enchanted as I approach the legendary Centre Jardin Botanix Faucher, which transforms into a Christmas market every year! Picture a place where every corner overflows with festivities: majestic Christmas trees ready for purchase with dazzling decorations. I just love greenhouses, so I’ve got to admit this is paradise for me! I browse the aisles, and while I won’t be adopting a tree today, I leave with some ornaments that’ll add a personal touch to my decorations this year.

🎄🎄🎄 La Maison Jacynthe
My last stop is La Maison Jacynthe because I’m especially fond of their high-quality, natural products. What better way to encourage a local business for my holiday gifts? Once again, I get there easily, with an extra 10-minute walk that doesn’t bother me at all, considering the magnificent view on Chemin de Fontarabie! Suddenly, I’m in a peaceful country decor, and La Maison Jacynthe is gorgeous. The team welcomes me with smiles, presenting their available products and special offers. I leave with several of my favourites to put under the tree this year!
