Sugar shack season means fun, sun and good times. It’s no wonder everyone loves this sweet time of year!
We’ve come up with a selection of sugar shacks located near a train station or bus stop so you can take full advantage of the experience with family or friends.
Le Chalet des érables
Opened in 1948 and recognized as a Quebec Heritage Site, this sugar shack is an excellent place to immerse yourself in Quebec traditions with its historical buildings surrounded by a forest of hundred-year-old maple trees.
Several activities are also available for visitors: pedestrian trails, boutique, small farm, antique car ride through the forest, train ride, mechanical bull, carousel, sleigh ride, and bumper cars.

Founded in 1974, this sugar shack promises visitors an authentic traditional experience from A to Z. On the menu: sleigh rides, farm animals, maple history museum, mobile disco and, of course, a traditional sugar shack meal.
