Winter is here and with it comes the magic of Christmas markets: brightly lit chalets, festive music, artisan creations, and the sweet scent of cinnamon. This year, enjoy yourself without the hassle of driving in circles looking for a parking spot!
In this article, we’re presenting several Christmas markets on the South Shore that are easily accessible by public transportation.
Saint-Hyacinthe Christmas Market
Probably one of the best-organized Christmas markets on the South Shore, the Saint-Hyacinthe Christmas Market spans three weekends, featuring a range of themes and offering a program of shows and activities for visitors of all ages.
When: December 5, 6, 7; 12, 13, 14; and 19, 20 and 21

Hudson Christmas Market
More than 30 exhibitors are expected at the Hudson Christmas Market. Live music, outdoor fires and booths selling food and hot drinks will also be part of the festivities.
Younger children can also get their faces painted and meet Santa Claus.

Delson Christmas Market
A wide array of merchants present their creations (soap, textiles, jewellery, stationery, gourmet food, and more) at both events.
