The daily menu at Nord Laboratoire Culinaire restaurant

Recipes are developed, tested, adjusted and finally approved in the Laboratoire’s kitchen, under the direction of chef Raphaël Podlasiewicz and his team. Between ideas, design, testing and adjustments, many culinary innovations are concocted here, combining Nordic creativity, harmonious flavours and fresh local products to offer a unique culinary experience.

Le Bar à croissants in Beloeil

Pastries at the bar

Ok. Ok. While Le Bar à croissants is not a gourmet restaurant, this bakery makes the best croissants in Greater Montréal (that’s right!), so we felt it deserved to be featured in this article. Go there for the croissants, of course, but also for the crispy chocolatines, decadent almond cookies and melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon brioches.

Address: currently located at 716 Laurier St. in Beloeil (with plans to move to a new locale on the same street in September)
