In summer, nearly every municipality in Greater Montréal has its own farmers’ market. These markets play an essential role in community life and promoting local agriculture. Here are some you can get to by public transit.

La Prairie gardeners’ market

What: More than 20 merchants selling seasonal fruits and vegetables, local meats and fish, homemade baked goods, fine cheeses from Québec, and a wide selection of plants and flowers for gardening enthusiasts.
