When temperatures warm up, refrigerated skating rinks on the South Shore are an excellent option for skating enthusiasts. These facilities provide high-quality ice surfaces regardless of the weather, ensuring perfect skating conditions all season long.

McMasterville refrigerated skating rink

McMasterville’s refrigerated rink is located in Gilles-Plante Park, with easy access from Rue de Normandie.
It welcomes skaters with reserved time slots for free skating, seniors-only, hockey games, ringette, and freestyle figure skating.
Visitors can lace up in a heated chalet equipped with restrooms and a water fountain to keep comfortable during their outing.
The rink is just a few minutes’ walk from McMasterville Station, and bus line 200 is also a good option to get there.

Featuring a high-quality ice surface and a refrigerated structure, the Varennes Polydôme ensures optimal skating conditions all winter long, even on warmer days.
The rink is equipped with modern amenities, including rest areas and heated changing rooms where skaters can warm up after their time on the ice.
Take bus line 701 to get to the rink, which is a 14-minute walk from the stop at Marie-Victorin in front of École Labarre.
