If you’re passing through Candiac for an hour or two, be sure to visit André-J.-Côté Park, a large green space on the banks of the St. Lawrence River.

With its abundant flowers and foliage, this park is perfect for picnicking, leisurely walks along the many trails and, in winter, skating at the ice rink.

The amphitheatre, an open-air arena on the hillside, and Maison Hélène-Sentenne, a part of the region’s historical heritage, are also worth a visit.

The park is open every day from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Address: 112 Marie-Victorin Blvd.

For cyclists, there are 34 km of bike paths.

And if you enjoy water sports, you can launch non-motorized boats from the André-J.-Côté Park dock.
