COVID-19: Anticipated impact on exo operations

dimanche, 09 janvier 2022

Montréal, January 9, 2022 – In light of the rapid rise in positive COVID-19 cases, exo is anticipating an impact on our ability to provide all scheduled bus, train and paratransit services in the coming weeks. We encourage transit users to check the service status on a regular basis via the available digital tools when planning their trips.

We will do everything in our power to maintain all of the regularly scheduled exo services that were announced in December and which take effect on January 10, 2022. However, depending on the personnel available to provide bus, train and paratransit services, certain schedules may be modified in the short term. Each sector may be affected differently.

We will continue to provide paratransit service day and night, despite the curfew. However, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. service will only be provided for work or medical reasons. Before making a reservation, customers must ensure that their destination will be open upon arrival.

Information tools

The past few weeks have shown that the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over and the situation in the weeks and months to come will be difficult to predict. Planning your trips and familiarizing yourself with the available information tools is therefore essential. The Chrono mobile app, which allows you to receive notifications regarding service disruptions, as well as exo’s website and social media accounts will all be updated regularly. Exo customer service is also available to answer your questions about the available services.

At exo, we are following the pandemic situation very closely and adjusting service as necessary. We will continue to provide transportation to essential workers, as we have done throughout the pandemic. The health and safety of our customers and our teams is our utmost priority.

Please also note the new schedules that will take effect on January 10, 2022.
