The provision of three elevators in the building housing the Terminus Centre-ville will enable people with reduced mobility to move around independently between the terminal, Bonaventure metro station and De la Gauchetière Street.
This major project will cause temporary disruption inside the terminal. In addition, platform 20 will be closed for the duration of the work, resulting in platform changes for certain Réseau de transport de Longueuil lines.
The Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM) undertakes to limit any inconvenience to customers by carrying out most of the work outside peak hours.
This $9.3-million investment is 75% funded by the Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports (MTMDET), under the Government assistance program for the public transport of people.
Work began in January 2017 and will be completed in winter 2019.
Enable intermodal access for people with reduced mobility between Terminus Centre-ville, Bonaventure metro station and De la Gauchetière Street.
Pursue projects that will ensure universal access to our facilities in compliance with applicable regulations and customer expectations.
