Taxi V
Are you between 12 and 17 and a resident of Varennes? This public taxi service is for you! It allows you to travel cheaply from a residential address to various public places in Varennes, Brossard, Boucherville and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.
-
Any time Friday evening, from 4 p.m. to midnight
-
Saturdays from 10 a.m. to midnight
Users who have made a reservation for the same time will be able to share the taxi; this will optimize travel by maximizing the number of passengers per vehicle. Since the service uses taxi cars, no more than four passengers are allowed in each vehicle. Travel as well as pick-up and drop-off points will vary, depending on the origin and destination of passengers; ideally, all pick-ups will be completed within 20 minutes of departure time.
Vélo-bus service
Cycling to work, to school or to discover new places? The Vélo-bus makes your bike trip easier! With a valid travel pass or ticket, you can have your bike carried by the bus, free of charge, to and from the stop of your choice. You must be able, without assistance, to lift the bike unto the rack before you board and remove it after you disembark. Bikes must not be laden with items and removable accessories that could prevent other passengers from using the bike rack, fall off while the vehicle is moving, hamper driver visibility or hide the vehicle’s headlights. In addition, bikes must not be locked onto the rack. Limit of two bikes per rack. Only non-motorized, two-wheeled bikes are allowed. This service is available:
