The RTM Sud-Ouest sector provides public transit by bus in the cities of Beauharnois, Châteauguay, Léry et Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, in addition to serving the cities of Coteau-du-Lac, Les Coteaux, Kahnawake and Saint-Zotique.
To serve you better, a taxibus service is available (booked in advance) to supplement the bus service in areas where buses do not run outside peak hours. A sign in the taxi indicates that it is a taxibus.
The municipalities of Beauharnois, Châteauguay and Ville de Léry have taxibus service available.
Cycling to work, to school or to discover new places? The Vélo-bus makes your bike trip easier! With a valid travel pass or ticket, you can have your bike carried by the bus, free of charge, to and from the stop of your choice. Buses are equipped with a bike rack for up to two regular, non-motorized bikes. Bikes are not allowed inside the buses. First come, first served! No reservations required. Users must be able to mount and remove their bikes as quickly as possible, without assistance, from the front of the bus or sidewalk. You must be aged 16 or over, or be accompanied by an adult, to use the bike rack. For safety reasons, the bus driver is not allowed to leave their seat to help you. RTM Sud-Ouest is not responsible for bicycle thefts or damages during this service, and reserves the right to change buses in the event of an emergency. Note that there is no guarantee that buses will always be equipped with a bike rack.
You may be entitled to door-to-door public paratransit. This service is provided by Transports Accès inc. You can commute by regular taxi, paratransit or minibus depending on your needs and on the resources available at the time you request the service.
